ABC’s Nightline Special With Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal on Zero Dark Thirty

Director Kathryn Bigelow and writer Mark Boal brought us a rousing drama that followed an elite bomb squad unit in 2008’s The Hurt Locker. This winter, the Academy Award winning duo has teamed up yet again to bring us the story of the greatest manhunt in history.  ABC’s Nightline aired a special exclusive sit-down with Bigelow and Boal to discuss the film.  We all know the outcome of Zero Dark Thirty, but the director and screenwriter want to show you how it all came to be.  Hit the jump to check out the video. Some new posters for Oz: The Great and Powerful, Les Misérables, and Zero Dark Thirty have been released.  The Oz poster is actually the final third to the triptych poster (which you can see here) that was released a little over two weeks ago.  The Les Misérables poster is pretty cool, seeing that it is the French version of the poster.  The Zero Dark Thirty poster is likely to be the last one released before we see the film hit theaters.  Both Les Mis and Zero Dark Thirty were screened for the first time for critics within the last week, and both already have loads of Oscar buzz surrounding them.  Hit the jump to check out the posters. Abrams’ next Star Trek installment, Star Trek Into Darkness,  will be attached to IMAX showings of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey next month, and that the trailer will be attached to non-IMAX showings, the official synopsis for the film has been released.  Abrams has always done a great job of keeping his plots as secret as possible, but it looks like he and Paramount are amping up the marketing hype as these special IMAX footage screenings approach.  Things are looking interesting as Captain Kirk and company are going to be engaged in an intergalactic manhunt for a “one man weapon of mass destruction.”  Hit the jump to check out the synopsis.
