Two brand new (sort of) posters have been released for Marvel’s upcoming super sequel, Iron Man 3. The two posters have been released before with real characters occupying them, but this time there’s an interesting twist. The posters go in line with the Lego Marvel Superheroes sets that are in stores now, and this is a fun way to market both the film and the toys. With the film’s release right around the corner, keep an eye out for more Iron Man 3 information to surface. But if you’re like me, you’ll want to stay away from any spoilers. Also, a new TV spot has been released focusing on The Mandarin’s Extremis soldiers. Hit the jump to check them out! Read the rest of this entry
A handful of new posters for director Guillermo del Toro’s monster epic Pacific Rim have been released. Each of the five posters features one of the gigantic jaegers constructed by their respective countries to defend mankind against the Kaiju. Pacific Rim has been met with very positive reaction from those who claim to have seen special advance screenings, but us less fortunate won’t be able to get our taste until the summer time. The posters feature USA’s “Gypsy Danger,” Japan’s “Coyote Tango,” China’s “Crimson Typhoon,” Russia’s “Cherno Alpha,” and Australia’s “Striker Eureka.” Pacific Rim certainly promises to be a visual spectacle, but can it deliver with substance? Only time will tell. Hit the jump to check out the posters. Read the rest of this entry

A brand new theatrical trailer for the latest installment in the Fast & Furious franchise has been released online today. The newest trailer doesn’t boast much new footage – you can check out the 3-minute trailer here – but it’s still evident that director Justin Lin & Co. are going big for the sixth outing – and when I say big, I mean gigantic. Fast & Furious 6 takes us across Europe where Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) is tracking down a group of skilled mercenary drivers led my an unnamed criminal mastermind (Luke Evans). In order to track down the mercenaries, Hobbs enlists Dom (Vin Diesel) to put together his own team of elite drivers. Along with the trailer is a new character poster featuring star Paul Walker. A new poster for Summit Entertainment’s sequel Red 2 has been released. Red was a surprise hit in 2010, and the stakes are even higher this time as we see the unlikely heroes go up against assassins and terrorists to try and keep the device out of the wrong hands. The poster gives us a glimpse of the ensemble cast, hit the jump to take a look. Read the rest of this entry
Four new posters have been released for Danny Boyle’s upcoming film, Trance. Boyle’s last two films (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) have been nothing short of spectacular, and with a strong cast here, there are high expectations for this thriller. Three of the posters are optical illusions, which plays well with the film’s synopsis. Hopefully Boyle’s next outing can provide Oscar success like his previous work. Some new posters for Oz: The Great and Powerful, Les Misérables, and Zero Dark Thirty have been released. The Oz poster is actually the final third to the triptych poster (which you can see here) that was released a little over two weeks ago. The Les Misérables poster is pretty cool, seeing that it is the French version of the poster. The Zero Dark Thirty poster is likely to be the last one released before we see the film hit theaters. Both Les Mis and Zero Dark Thirty were screened for the first time for critics within the last week, and both already have loads of Oscar buzz surrounding them. Hit the jump to check out the posters. While there was a plethora of theatrical and character posters released for Warner Bros.’ The Dark Knight Rises over the past year, three unused character posters featuring Batman and Bane surfaced on the web today. Two of the posters just seem to be different variations of the popular “Rise” character posters featuring Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. The third poster features a logo that appeared on t-shirts that were given away at screenings of the TDKR prologue back in December 2011. The logo is the opposite of the “chalk bat” logo used throughout the film. I for one think that the third poster is the coolest of the bunch, but it’s always cool to see new TDKR stuff. Hit the jump and take a look for yourself.
