New Trailer for ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES Starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, & Steve Carell – Plus New Poster

Anchorman 2 CastThe long and tireless wait is finally over.  A brand new full-length trailer for Paramount and director Adam McKay‘s much anticipated Anchorman follow-up has been released online.  Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues sees the return of the much beloved – and certainly unconventional – news team who leave San Diego and the 70’s behind them to take on New York City and a new 24-hours news network.  While Ron and Veronica are married, Ron seems to be getting comfortable with another woman.  The trailer features some silly laughs, and it looks like much has changed with the characters since the last go around.  We get our first look at Kristen-Wiig, the return of Baxter, and some serious racial tension.  Unfortunately, we’re still waiting for our first official looks at rappers Kanye West and Drake, both of whom make cameos in the film.  Along with the new trailer is a brand new poster that’s kind of a big deal.  You stay classy and hit the jump to check it out.  Read the rest of this entry

New Clip From WORLD WAR Z Starring Brad Pitt

World War Z ZombiesA brand new extended clip from director Marc Forster‘s upcoming zombie epic, World War Z, has been released online.   The film’s story revolves around Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), a United Nations employee attempting to find out how to stop the zombie pandemic that is threatening to put an end to humanity.  The clip shows us a scene previously shown in many of the film’s trailers wherein Lane and his family are escaping a building to a helicopter.  Early screenings have seen surprisingly positive reactions considering the film’s many speedbumps during production.  Are you ready?  Hit the jump to check it out. First Trailer for Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET Starring Leonardo DiCaprio

The Wolf of Wall Street Leonardo DiCaprio - CopySo greed is good again, huh?  The first trailer for Paramount Pictures Martin Scorsese directed The Wolf of Wall Street has been released online.  The film, based on the memoir of Jordan Belfort (who was convicted of crimes related to stock market manipulation), stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the young stockbroker indicted in 1998 to spend 22 months in jail after charges of money laundering and security fraud.  The trailer, appropriately played under Kanye West’s Black Skinhead off his Yeezus album, unexpectedly highlights much of the film’s lightheartedness and all-star cast- and some surprising dance moves provided by Leo.  The Wolf of Wall Street will be hitting theaters just in time to kick off the awards season, so hit the jump to check out the trailer! Extended Trailer for Marc Forster’s WORLD WAR Z Starring Brad Pitt

World War Z Brad Pitt 3 - CopyA brand new extended viral trailer for director Marc Forster‘s zombie epic World War Z has been released online today.  The film’s story revolves around Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), a United Nations employee attempting to find out how to stop the zombie pandemic that is threatening to put an end to humanity.  The new trailer does a great job at showcasing the film’s large scale as it jumps from multiple different suffering locations around the world.  The spot has no audible dialogue (except for some newscast audio) and does a great job at building the tension between the film and viewer.  The film has been met with surprisingly positive reviews after its premier – it’s no secret that the cast and crew saw many speed bumps along the way through production, with some outlets reporting that the film’s budget ballooned to an astonishing $400 million.  Hit the jump to take a look! First Clip from STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS

Star Trek Into Darkness Zachary Quinto - CopyThe first clip has been released online from Paramount Pictures’ JJ Abrams-directed sequel Star Trek Into Darkness.  The clip features footage of Zachary Quinto‘s Spock that was briefly seen in previous trailers for the film.  In the clip, Kirk (Chris Pine) and the Enterprise crew are discussing how to go about rescuing Spock from a volcano on the verge of eruption.  The crew are also wearing some pretty snazzy outfits too.  It’s really hard to believe how close we are to the film’s release, so keep an eye out for a few more clips from the film.  Hit the jump to take a look.   Read the rest of this entry

Final Trailer for STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS – Plus New Poster

Star Trek Into Darkness Chris Pine 3Paramount Pictures has released what is assumed to be the final trailer for director JJ Abrams‘ upcoming Trek sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness.  With the film’s release only a few weeks away now, the marketing campaign for the film seems to be coming to a close – but expect plenty of TV spots to repeat while you’re watching television.  The newest trailer puts heavy focus on Chris Pine‘s Captain Kirk, while the majority of previous trailers tried to introduce us to the film’s villain.  The trailer also does confirm that the Enterprise will in fact be destroyed.  The tone of the trailer is dark, keeping in line with previous trailers.  Hit the jump to take a look. New Trailer for STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS – Plus New Poster & Images

Star Trek Into Darkness Chris Pine 3A brand new trailer for the much anticipated JJ Abrams sequel, Star Trek Into Darknesshas been released online today.  The trailer features footage seen in previous trailers as well as a great deal of new footage.  The action looks absolutely incredibly and it looks like Abrams has pulled out all of the stops for the sequel.  Another thing that is conveyed through the trailer is the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be an absolute bad ass villain.  The tone of the trailer, as with the previous trailers, is dark and definitely has a “Dark Knight” feel to it.  Along with the new trailer are two new images (released a few days ago via the Star Trek Into Darkness App), and a new poster (revealed through a URL hidden within the trailer).  Hit the jump to take a look! Christopher Nolan to Write and Direct INTERSTELLAR – Film Opens November 7th, 2014

Dark Knight RisesRumors have been surrounding Christopher Nolan‘s involvement with the sci-fi epic Interstellar  for quite some time now.  Previous reports suggested that Nolan would be re-writing brother Jonathon Nolan’s script, with a possibility of joining as director as well.  It has now been confirmed that the director of the acclaimed Dark Knight Trilogy and Inception will be behind the pen and in the director’s chair for the film.  The overshadowing news is that two major studios will be teaming up to co-produce the film.  Paramount Pictures will be handling domestic distribution duties while Warner Bros. will handle it on the international front.  It has also been announced that the film will be releasing in theaters and IMAX on November 14th, 2014.  the jump to read more. Paramount Plans Super Bowl TV Spots for STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS and WORLD WAR Z

Paramount Pictures LogoParamount will be putting up a pretty penny this year to showcase two of their top films of 2013 during Super Bowl XLVII.  TV spots for JJ Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness and Marc Forster’s World War Z will air – World War Z will air during the pregame show, Star Trek will air during the second quarter.  Each spot will be 30 seconds, so keep an eye out or you might miss it!  Hit the jump to read more about these two films.
