Two New Promo Posters from Spike Lee’s OLDBOY Remake Starring Josh Brolin

Oldboy Brolin 3 - CopyTwo new promotional posters for director Spike Lee‘s re-adaptation of South-Korean thriller Oldboy have made their way online via the film’s Facebook page this morning.  Both of the poster’s sarcastically highlight the amenities of the room that Joe Doucett (Josh Brolin) had lived in for 20 years under solitary confinement.  The film centers upon the vengeful mission one man sets out on after his unexpected and inexplicable release from being kidnapped and held in solitary confinement.  Spike Lee’s reimagining of the film is sure to have plenty of callbacks to its highly praised original, and judging by the film’s red-band trailer (featured below), there will be no shortage of blood.  Hit the jump to check out the posters and the film’s trailer. My Reaction to MAN OF STEEL – Plus Nightline Special & New Posters

Two New Images from Neill Blomkamp’s ELYSIUM Starring Matt Damon

Elysium Matt Damon 2 - CopySony Pictures has released two brand new images from director Neill Blomkamp‘s upcoming sci-fi epic, Elysium.  The film’s first trailer is extremely impressive, and these images are singing the same tune.  Blomkamp’s critically acclaimed District 9 was a fantastic film that not many people gave themselves the opportunity to truly enjoy.  But Elysium‘s scale trumps that of District 9, and so do its star status and huge budget.  The film takes place in 2159 where two classes of divided people exist: the extremely wealthy who inherit the privilege to live on a man-made space station called Elysium, leaving the rest of humanity to live on the overpopulated planet Earth.  I’m a believer of the notion that when sci-fi is done right, it’s some of the best work to experience.  Hit the jump to take a look at the images. New NSFW Clip from THIS IS THE END – Plus New Character Posters

New Trailer for Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL – Plus New Character Posters

Man of Steel Henry Cavill 9The fourth and presumably final trailer for director Zack Snyder‘s eagerly anticipated upcoming Superman flick, Man of Steel, has been released online.  If you enjoyed the film’s third trailer, then lace up your boots and strap in because this one is flat out awesome.  Clocking in at just under two minutes, the new trailer focuses on the film’s main villain, General Zod (Michael Shannon).  Zod issues an ultimatum to Earth, and they will “suffer the consequences” if Superman (Henry Cavill) doesn’t turn himself in to Zod within 24 hours.  While previous trailers focused more on the more emotional and grounded elements of the film, this new trailer is jam-packed full of action, explosions, a mountain of skulls, and heat vision!  Along with the new trailer are a few new character posters, so hit the jump to check them out!
