Josh Brolin Confirms BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Rumors

Josh BrolinThe debate over the last two months between fanboys, fangirls, and well, the entire universe has centered upon the potential actors that will don the cape and cowl as the Dark Knight in the much anticipated Man of Steel sequel.  Now that Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder have announced that acclaimed actor/director Ben Affleck will be the next Caped Crusader, rumors about other actors approached for the role have come to light.  In a recent interview with the Huffington PostJosh Brolin confirmed the rumors surrounding his former potential involvement in the next film to extend the Batman film mythology.  Hit the jump to read more. Warner Bros. & Zack Snyder Announce Superman/Batman Movie

Batman Superman - CopyAt long last, and to the liking of many a fanboy across the world, at San Diego’s Comic-Con yesterday, Warner Bros. and Man of Steel director Zack Snyder officially announced the inevitable: Superman and Batman will simultaneously grace the big screen in 2015.  The news comes fresh off the heels of the great – and still ongoing – box office success of Snyder’s Man of Steel.  Henry Cavill will return to suit up as the Man of Steel, and the actor who will play Batman has yet to be cast.  Hit the jump to read more. My Reaction to MAN OF STEEL – Plus Nightline Special & New Posters

Man of Steel Henry Cavill 12Well, I didn’t expect the day to come so early, but this past Thursday, I was fortunate enough to check out Warner Bros.’ highly anticipated Man of Steel for myself.  After the jump I’ll be posting a short reaction to the film, but I will be posting a full length review  after I’ve seen the film for a second time next Tuesday.  Long story short, Man of Steel is everything  that I hoped it would be, and much more.  Along with my reaction is a great piece from Nightline highlighting interviews with the cast, Zack Snyder, and even Christopher Nolan.  There are also three new posters that have been released for the film.  We’re less than a week away from its release, so get excited!  Hit the jump to check out my reaction and some other cool stuff! Final Exclusive Trailer for MAN OF STEEL

Man of Steel Henry Cavill 8Much like the studio did with The Dark Knight Rises, Warner Bros. and Nokia have teamed up to give fans the fifth and presumably final look at the much anticipated Superman film, Man of Steel.  I know my site has been extremely heavy with MOS content over the last few days, but I just can’t contain my excitement.  And let’s be honest, this is far and away the most anticipated film of the summer season.  Early reactions from screenings have been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity to catch the film tonight.  We’re a week away from the film’s release, and this new trailer highlights Hans Zimmer’s rousing score and showcases a bevy of new footage.  Hit the jump to take a look! New Clip from MAN OF STEEL Featuring Amy Adams & Henry Cavill

MAN OF STEELThe marketing campaign for Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder‘s upcoming film for The Last Son of Krypton is in full swing.  While making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, star Amy Adams revealed the second clip from the upcoming Man of Steel.  This time around, the clip features Henry Cavill as Superman in a continuation of a scene that has been seen in many of the trailers where Lois and Supes discuss what the ‘S’ stands for.  Is this finally the film that’s worthy of the world’s most revered comic book character?  Man of Steel is just over a week away and early reactions from the film have been overwhelmingly positive.  Hit the jump to take a look, and keep an eye out for more incoming MOS information! First Clip from MAN OF STEEL Featuring Amy Adams & Laurence Fishburne

Man of Steel Adams Fishburne - CopyWhile making an appearance on Ellen today, star Amy Adams released the first clip of Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder‘s upcoming superhero epic, Man of Steel.  The clip runs roughly 40 seconds and features a conversation between Lois Lane (Adams) and Daily Planet editor Perry White (Laurence Fishburne).  The conversation results in Lane being asked to go on a leave of absence from the periodical after pursuing a story she was instructed not to.  The marketing campaign for Man of Steel is undoubtedly in full swing, so keep an eye out for more exciting information!  Hit the jump to check out the clip. New Red Band Trailer for THE HANGOVER PART III Starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, & Ken Jeong

The Hangover 3 Cooper Helms Galifianakis GoodmanA brand new red band trailer for the third and final installment of director Todd Phillips’ trilogy, The Hangover Part III, has been released online.  The much anticipated follow-up is sure to be a box office hit and the trailer provides plenty of laughs.  In the trilogy capper, the Wolfpack is off to take Allan (Zach Galifianakis) to a psychiatric hospital when things go awry thanks to a mysterious man (John Goodman).  Once again, the Wolfpack finds themselves hunting down Chow (Ken Jeong) in order to save Doug (Justin Bartha).  The red band trailer provides a nice recap of the first two films while introducing us to plenty of new footage and laughs – oh, and the reemergence of Mike Epps as “Black Doug”.  Hit the jump to take a look. New Trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM

Yet another trailer for director Guillermo del Toro‘s monster epic, Pacific Rim, has been released online.  The film pits humanity in a fight to save mankind when legions of monsters, known as Kaiju, rise from the sea and threaten the extinction of the human race.  In order to engage the Kaiju in combat, massive robots were erected, called Jaegers.  “In order to fight monsters, we created monsters of our own.”  The new trailer rehashes some footage from the WonderCon trailer from a few weeks ago and, yet again, boasts stunning visuals and impressive action sequences.  There is no doubt that Pacific Rim is meant for the biggest screen possible.  Hit the jump to take a look. New Banner & TV Spot for Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL

MAN OF STEELI haven’t been able to update the site as often as I would’ve liked over the last week or so – you can thank school and final exams for that.  One thing that I do know is that director Zack Snyder‘s upcoming Superman flick, Man of Steelis right around the corner.  A brand new banner and 30-second TV spot have been released today for the highly anticipated film.  The TV spot focuses on the grounded nature of the story and characters, spectacular action, and Hans Zimmer’s rousing score.  Early reaction from the film suggests that this is finally the film that The Last Son of Krypton deserves, and I can’t contain my excitement anymore!  Along with the TV spot is a brand new banner focusing on Henry Cavill‘s watchful Superman.  Hit the jump to take a look.
