First Trailer for 2 GUNS Starring Denzel Washington & Mark Wahlberg – Plus First Poster & New Images

2 Guns Denzel Washington Mark Wahlberg - CopyThe first trailer for Universal’s Baltasar Kormakur directed action drama 2 Guns has been released online today.  Starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, the film is based on a graphic novel with the same title as it follows two government operatives who are disavowed by their superiors and are forced to go on the run after a mission goes awry.  The cast looks great and the trailer showcases much of the film’s humor as Washington and Wahlberg look like they’ll be great together on screen.  The trailer also gives us a good look at Bill Paxton as the film’s villain.  In a summer filled with films that promise to be great, I’m very much looking forward to this one.  Along with the trailer are some new images and a new poster.  Hit the jump to take a look. New International Red Band Trailer for KICK-ASS 2 – Plus New Character Posters

Kick Ass 2 Moretz 2 - CopyTwo brand new trailers for director Jeff Waldow’s Kick-Ass 2 were released online yesterday.  The first of which is an international trailer, while the second trailer is just a red band version of that.  While these trailers tend to stray away from the plot, they do focus on Chloe Grace Moretz‘s character, Hit Girl.  There’s a bit of new footage here, but nothing too crazy.  Hit Girl was definitely a fan favorite in the first film, so I’m sure there will be plenty of Hit Girl in the much anticipated sequel.  I prefer the red band trailer, just because I enjoy the bad language and blood.  The red band trailer is also a little bit funnier than the regular one, so take a look for yourself!  Also released are posters for Moretz’s Hit Girl and Jim Carrey‘s Colonel Stars and Stripes.  Hit the jump to take a look. First International & Domestic Trailers for THE WOLVERINE Starring Hugh Jackman – Plus New Posters & Images

The WolverineThe first domestic and international trailers for director James Mangold’s The Wolverine have been released today.  After a number of short teasers, fans finally get a chance for an extended glimpse at the much anticipated Hugh Jackman led film.  Taking place after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, the film takes the celebrated comic book character to modern day Japan.  Struggling with his own immortality, Wolverine is offered the chance to be mortal by a man he once saved long ago.  The action looks spectacular, but it looks like Mangold is trying to focus on the psyche of the character more than anything else.  The trailers are great and I’m definitely excited for this summer.  Along with the trailers are two new posters and eight new images.  Hit the jump to take a look.  Read the rest of this entry

New Red Band Trailer for PAIN & GAIN Starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, & Anthony Mackie – Plus New Images

Pain and Gain Mark Wahlberg Dwayne Johnson Anthony MackieA brand new red band trailer for the Michael Bay directed comedy Pain & Gain has been released online today.  Starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie, Pain & Gain is based on a true story of  three personal trainers who get caught up in a kidnapping and extortion enterprise that goes wrong.  The three-minute red band trailer focuses on the film’s humor and provides plenty of laughs – Wahlberg’s basketball scene is hilarious.  I’m definitely excited for the movie as the two trailers have been really impressive.  Along with the trailer are a couple of new images as well.  Hit the jump to take a look. First Trailer for WHITE HOUSE DOWN Starring Channing Tatum & Jamie Foxx – Plus New Posters

White House Down Jamie Foxx Channing Tatum - CopyThe first trailer for director Roland Emmerich’s White House Down has been released online today.  A lot of questions have been raised over the last couple of months because of White House Down and Olympus has Fallen being released this year.  While both movies have basically the same plot, the first trailer is rather impressive.  The trailer starts out with grainy footage from news outlets before it progresses until a more clear cinematic picture.  The first half focuses on an attack on Washington, DC before it introduces us to lead actors Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.  It also suggests that the attack on DC will come from within rather than a foreign source, so it’ll be interesting to see how this differs from Olympus has Fallen.  Along with the new trailer are a couple of new posters for the film.  Hit the jump to take a look. Review: SPRING BREAKERS

Spring Breakers

“Spring break…..Spring break forevaaaa.”  Words uttered by James Franco’s outrageous and eccentric Alien that resonate throughout the duration of Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers.   Spoken soft and slow, this dialogue suggests that spring break isn’t just a week of raucous and irresponsible decision making – it’s a state of being. New Trailer for STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS – Plus New Poster & Images

Star Trek Into Darkness Chris Pine 3A brand new trailer for the much anticipated JJ Abrams sequel, Star Trek Into Darknesshas been released online today.  The trailer features footage seen in previous trailers as well as a great deal of new footage.  The action looks absolutely incredibly and it looks like Abrams has pulled out all of the stops for the sequel.  Another thing that is conveyed through the trailer is the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be an absolute bad ass villain.  The tone of the trailer, as with the previous trailers, is dark and definitely has a “Dark Knight” feel to it.  Along with the new trailer are two new images (released a few days ago via the Star Trek Into Darkness App), and a new poster (revealed through a URL hidden within the trailer).  Hit the jump to take a look!
