First Trailer for Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

DOFP Hoult Jackman McAvoy - CopyThe first trailer for director Bryan Singer‘s return to the X-Men franchise and sequel to the critically acclaimed X-Men: First Class
has been released online.  X-Men: Days of Future Past features the biggest ensemble of X-Men characters that has ever been seen on film, brought together to fight a war for the species across two time periods.  The film’s story involves Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine traveling back in time to aid Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) in stopping the Sentinels, robots programmed to exterminate mutants.  Just as promised, the trailer is epic as it showcases the film’s sprawling cast of characters and hits home with Hans Zimmer’s (no surprise here) incredibly ominous score.  Hit the jump to check it out. New Full-Length Trailer for Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables

The second full-length trailer for Universal Studios’ big screen adaptation for the classic musical Les Misérables was released yesterday.  The trailer features a wider range of vocal performances from the ensemble cast, unlike in the first trailer where we only saw Anne Hathaway perform a short excerpt of “I Dreamed a Dream.”  Director Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech) took an interesting approach to the film by having the actors sing live instead of dubbing it over in post production, and I’ve been very impressed by the footage that we have seen so far.  Read the rest of this entry
