First Official Images of Jamie Foxx & Dane DeHaan from THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

The Amazing Spider-Man Banner 2Director Marc Webb has been hard at work on production of the much anticipated sequel to his Spidey reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  Webb has been very active on social media when it comes to keeping fans up to speed on the shoot.  We’ve seen a flurry of amateur set photos – including a look at Jamie Foxx‘s villain, Electro.  Webb and star Dane DeHaan took to twitter the other day to give us the first official looks at Max Dillion (Fox) and Harry Osborne (DeHaan).  The image of Dillon is before his physical transformation into the luminous villain – a look that is drastically different from the comic iteration of the character.  Hit the jump to take a look. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Begins Filming – New Synopsis Revealed

The Amazing Spider-Man Banner 2According to director Marc Webb, production on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is officially underway.  I’m a big fan of the Raimi franchise, although I felt that Tobey Maguire was never right for the role, and I really felt that The Amazing Spider-Man was a great kick-start to what could be another great franchise.  As in the first movie, the casting for TASM2 is fantastic.  Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Sally Field return while welcoming giant newcomers Jaime Foxx, Paul Giamatti, and Colm Feore.  Along with the beginning of production, the synopsis for the film has been released.  Hit the jump to read the press release.
