First International & Domestic Trailers for THE WOLVERINE Starring Hugh Jackman – Plus New Posters & Images
The first domestic and international trailers for director James Mangold’s The Wolverine have been released today. After a number of short teasers, fans finally get a chance for an extended glimpse at the much anticipated Hugh Jackman led film. Taking place after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, the film takes the celebrated comic book character to modern day Japan. Struggling with his own immortality, Wolverine is offered the chance to be mortal by a man he once saved long ago. The action looks spectacular, but it looks like Mangold is trying to focus on the psyche of the character more than anything else. The trailers are great and I’m definitely excited for this summer. Along with the trailers are two new posters and eight new images. Hit the jump to take a look.
The Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamotoand Svetlana Khodchenkova and will hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.
