New Red Band Trailer for SPRING BREAKERS Starring James Franco – Plus New Featurette & TV Spots

Spring Breakers James Franco 2 - CopyWith the wide release of Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers about three weeks away, a lot of promotion material has been surfacing. A brand new red band trailer for the film has been released online along with a behind-the-scenes featurette and two new TV spots.  All of the material offers up a great deal of new footage, and the featurette lends a great look at the behind-the-scenes work put into the film.  Spring Breakers centers upon four college girls who hold up a restaurant to get the money for spring break, where they meet the eccentric and dangerous drug dealer, Alien (James Franco).  GANGSTA!  Let’s cause some trouble now and hit the jump to take a look.

Directed by Harmony Korine and starring James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine, Spring Breakers hits theaters internationally on March 6th, 2013 and in the U.S. on March 22nd, 2013.

Synopsis:

Brit (Ashley Benson), Candy (Vanessa Hudgens), Cotty (Rachel Korine) and Faith (Selena Gomez) have been best friends since grade school. They live together in a boring college dorm and are hungry for adventure. All they have to do is save enough money for spring break to get their shot at having some real fun.  A serendipitous encounter with rapper “Alien” (James Franco) promises to provide the girls with all the thrill and excitement they could hope for. With the encouragement of their new friend, it soon becomes unclear how far the girls are willing to go to experience a spring break they will never forget.
