Disney Set to Air Two IRON MAN 3 Super Bowl TV Spots
Paramount Pictures will be providing two 30 second TV spots during Super Bowl XLVII which will cost more than $4 million. Disney on the other hand, has plans to go even bigger than that. After showing a TV spot for The Avengers during last year’s Super Bowl, Disney and Marvel plan to showcase their kick start to “Phase Two” with not one, but two Super Bowl TV spots for Shane Black’s Iron Man 3. No word on when these spots will air during the game, but the spots will be 30 seconds and 60 seconds. Keep an eye out during the big game to see new footage from Marvel’s latest adventure! Along with Iron Man 3, Disney has a TV spot planned for Oz: The Great and Powerful, and a 90 second spot planned for The Lone Ranger to air during the first quarter of the game.
Iron Man 3 is the beginning of Marvel’s “Phase Two” program – starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, and Rebecca Hall, Iron Man 3 hits theaters May 3rd, 2013.
